A
Ciborium from Christian-Communion-Supplies.com is handcrafted by artisans in the USA out of silver-plated brass with a 24K gold-lined interior cup. The plural of Ciborium is Ciboria and many thanks to Father Pete of St. Christopher's Community Church located on Steamboat Island, Washington for defining "Ciborium." According to Father Pete, a Ciborium is the container used to hold the bread (or "host") that has already been blessed for communion by the priest or officiant but that cannot be consumed because there aren't enough members of the congregation to eat all of it. When this happens, the leftover "host" is placed in the Ciborium and consumed at the next eucharist, or Lord's Supper.
These pieces are especially made as matched sets for our Silver
